Welcome to the Chatham Historical Society

The Chatham Historical Society was formed in 1950.

The objects of the Society are to bring together all those who are interested in the history and the archaeology of the Medway Towns and the immediate surrounding area.

Also when possible to collect and record all material relating to the history of this area
